Unfortunately it is likely that while a student at UA you will learn that a friend, partner, or roommate will be a victim of sexual assault. Your response to a survivor is very important in their healing and can either help them cope with the trauma or contribute to their pain. It’s hard to know how to respond to a disclosure of sexual assault and we hope that the following information will help you respond in a supportive and compassionate manner. If you need help or guidance do not hesitate to contact the Oasis Sexual Assault and Trauma Services at 626-2051 M-F, 8am-5pm.
